Board of Elders of Balkar People appeals against decision of Kabardino-Balkaria's SC to the RF Supreme Court

The Board of Elders of the Balkar People (BEBP) has filed a cassation complaint to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, which challenges the lawfulness of the decision to liquidate the BEBP passed by the Supreme Court (SC) of Kabardino-Balkaria on January 14.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports that Dzhambulat Eteev, Chairman of the BEBP Executive Committee, expressed his hope, when making comments on the appeal to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, that the supreme country's judiciary would get into the case and pass a fair verdict.

"Our organization was liquidated under far-fetched motives. We haven't broken a single Russian law. On the contrary, we stand for observance of federal laws in the territory of the Republic."
