Preliminary hearing on attack on Nalchik postponed again in Kabardino-Balkaria

The preliminary hearing that was due on February 20 on the criminal case on the events of October 13, 2005, in Nalchik has been transferred to March 5. This time, the reason for delay was the illness of two advocates - Tatiana Psomiadi and Oleg Kelemetov.

We remind you that the preliminary hearing on the case started late October last year, and seven court sessions have been held already, however, the case has not reached its consideration on the merits yet.

The first two sessions of the preliminary hearing dealt with the issues of ensuring the defence. Then, the defendants moved a petition to exclude the evidences from the case, which had been obtained through violations of the Code of Criminal Procedure and through use of violence.
