Moscow Mayoralty informs parliament of Kabardino-Balkaria on measures of fighting xenophobia

The parliament of Kabardino-Balkaria has received an answer to their request to the Moscow Municipal Duma on the facts of attacks and murders in Moscow of natives of Kabardino-Balkaria committed in January-March of this year. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it at the press service of the Parliament

The answer runs that "operative measures include meetings with groups of aggressively inclined young people, possessing potentials to undertake violent actions. <...> Sittings of antiterrorist commissions have considered the issue of making additions into the charters and regulations of higher schools and general educational establishments to ban any propaganda activities of political parties, public associations and radical and destructive religious organizations in their territories."

Besides, the prefectures of Moscow administrative districts have activated their work on setting up at higher schools of voluntary students' groups engaged in maintaining public order and the prevention of conflicts on the basis of ethnic hostility in the territories of educational institutions, hostels and campuses.
