The appeal of three pages was signed by representatives of the Human Rights Society "Memorial" in Grozny and Nazran: Shakhman Akbulatov, Usam Baisaev, Zarema Mukusheva, Shamil Tangiev, Timur Akiev and Albert Khantygov, leaders of the human rights organization "Russian-Chechen Friendship Society" Stanislav Dmitrievskiy and Oksana Chelysheva, well-known Russian human rights activists Vladimir Shaklein and Nadezhda Banchik, expert of the Moscow Helsinki Group for Northern Caucasus Aslambek Apaev, leader of the Ingush human rights organization named MAShR Magomed Mutsolgov and others.

Having approved the Ombudsman's statements in general, human rights activists call him also to recollect the tragedy in the Prigorodny District of North Ossetia and two military campaigns in the territory of the Chechen Republic, which had taken thousands of human lives.
