Isa Yamadaev: "Voctok" ex-commander is on the mend

The health status of Hero of Russia Sulim Yamadaev causes no concern of the doctors; he started speaking and is prepared to the second surgery because of the wound received during the attempt on him in March 2009. This was reported by Sulim's brother Isa Yamadaev.

"In the near future, Sulim will be operated on for the second time, which is caused by consequences of one of the wounds," said Isa Yamadaev. "The complications have arisen because of the wound in the neck, since the bullet touched a nerve."

According to Isa, because of this wound Sulim initially could not speak, however after his first surgery his condition got improved, as the "Kommersant" writes.

"Sulim's wife said that he talks to her and is obviously on the mend," the "Rosbal" quotes Isa Yamadaev as saying. He added that the location of the clinic, where his brother is treated, is kept secret.
