Chechen MIA tries to identify the recent suicide bomber

The law enforcement bodies have not managed yet to identify the terrorist-suicide bomber who blew himself up in the morning on September 12 in central Grozny and heavily wounded three local militiamen.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by a local law enforcer. In his opinion, most likely, the exploded militant was a member of the grouping under field commander Muslim Gakaev, a native of Elistanzhi village, Vedeno District.

The person of the bomber who blew himself up in the morning on September 12 near Bilimkhanov Stadium in Grozny was not identified yet because the explosion literally tore his body into small fragments.

"Earlier, Muslim Gakaev had declared that only for the direction he was in charge of he trained 20 the so-called "shahids" (suicide bombers). Of them, about fifteen have already self-exploded or were neutralized and detained in the course of successful special operations. Thus, Gakaev is supposed to have five more suicide bombers 'in stock'," the source believes.
