In Dagestan, militia violently disperses rally of football fans
Today in Makhachkala, having defeated "Metallurg" from Lipetsk 3:0, the football team "Anzhi" from Dagestan won the first place in Russian championship in Division One and next season will be relegated to Premier League. The fans who came to the central square of Makhachkala to celebrate the victory were dispersed by the militia.
After the game, the fans did not the football players to leave for a long time. Under applause of supporters, who attended the match in the number of about 15,000, the players performed the Lezgin dance. Then, the celebration of the victory went out into Makhachkala streets. However, the feast was spoiled by militiamen.
Law enforcers tried to stop celebrations by using truncheons and electric shockers. Several fans were detained and brought to the militia station.
