Dzhvari
Temple at top of mountain at the confluence of the rivers Aragvi and Kurah, near Mtskheta (Georgia). One of outstanding monuments of medieval Georgian architecture (it is constructed in 586/587 - 604). Dzhvari temple distinguished by a harmonicity of proportions, represents a tetraconh blocked by a dome on a 8-faced drum (22m x 18,4 m), with 4 angular premises adjoining to it. On facades - reliefs with the ktitors images. The crosswise church Small Dzhvari (middle 6 adjoins in., it was kept in ruins) adjoins to Dzhvari.
