Volgograd residents commemorate terror act victims

Today, those, whose relatives perished in the blasted trolley bus on December 30, 2013, held a rally at the monument to victims of the terror act in Volgograd. During the action, an Orthodox priest held a prayer service. On December 29, a memorial rally was also held at the railway station, where a terror act was also committed three years ago.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the two terror acts claimed 34 human lives (apart from the two suicide bombers), and more than 70 people were wounded.

A mourning rally was held in the Dzerzhinsk District at the monument to victims of the terror act on December 30, 2013, and brought together about 50 people.

The event was attended by members of the Dzerzhinsk District Veterans' Board.

Alexander Bloshkin, Deputy Governor of the Volgograd Region, has noted that "the authorities had rendered help to casualties' families and victims, but no help can revive bandits' victims."

The rally ended with a minute of silence; the participants laid flowers to the monument.

At a rally on December 29, at the railway station, participants lit candles in casualties' memory.
