Azerbaijan counts 80 shelling episodes in Karabakh conflict zone

During the last 24 hours, the territories of three villages were shelled in the Karabakh conflict zone, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 6, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 86 violations of the ceasefire regime within the past 24 hours; and the day earlier – of 92 such incidents. The MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh, in its turn, counted 250 acts of shelling from Azerbaijan for the week of July 29 to August 4.

The opponents shelled the positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in the villages of Gyzylgadjyly, Bala Djafarli and Munjuglu, and on the nameless heights in the Gazakh and Gedabek Districts, the website of the Azerbaijani MoD has reported.

The shelling was conducted from positions in the territory of Armenia and "near the occupied villages," the MoD has specified.
