Musaeva's son claims the need for his mother's hospitalization
As stated by Abubakar Yangulbaev, Zarema Musaeva's son, the health condition of his mother has worsened significantly during her stay at the Chechen SIZO (pre-trial prison), and her eyesight began disappearing. Her advocate has stated that the expert, who, as a member of the commission, issued an opinion on the case of Zarema's attack on a law enforcer, at the court session, contradicted his own conclusions.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 1, 2022, Musaeva completely denied all the charges and confirmed her previous testimonies, which she had given in the first days after her abduction. In February this year, she reported that her eyesight began disappearing at the Chechen SIZO. On April 28, her defence stated that the examination of the nail sections in Musaeva's case was conducted with gross violations.
Zarema Musaeva is accused of assaulting a law enforcer and committing a fraud.
Her advocates intend to appeal against the court ruling, which rejected the defence's petition and considered the conclusion of the above examination of nail sections as admissible proof.

Musaeva's defence can continue making unlimited petitions, Abubakar Yangulbaev, a lawyer, has stated. According to his story, his mother needs rehabilitation at hospital, because her health has deteriorated during her stay at the Chechen SIZO.
The court should not pass a sentence only on the basis of the examination of nail sections, Galina Tarasova, a lawyer, has noted.
