Residents of Southern Russia commemorate victims of terror act at Crocus City Hall

Cities of the Southern and North-Caucasian Federal Districts (SFD and NCFD) have hosted actions in memory of the victims of the terror act at the Crocus City Hall, involving thousands of people.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 22, armed men broke into the concert Crocus City Hall located near Moscow, opened automatic shooting and set the building on fire. According to preliminary data, 139 people perished.

To commemorate terror act victims, Makhachkala townspeople laid flowers at the monument to Hero of Russia, Magomed Nurbagandov, the RIA "Dagestan" has reported.

In North Ossetia, people brought flowers to the monument to the victims of the Beslan terror act at the Memorial of Glory located in the city of Vladikavkaz.

A memorial event for those who perished in the Crocus City Hall was held in the gym of the Beslan School. Candles there were lit all the day, the "Region 15" outlet has informed.

In Nalchik, dozens of people brought flowers and lit candles in front of the banner with the inscription: "We mourn. Moscow. March 22, 2024".

In Chechnya, commemoration events were held at the Glory Memorial Complex named after Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov.

More than a hundred people laid out the inscription "Sochi is mourning" from burning candles in the Southern Pier Square, says the website of the city administration.
