On May 13-19, one person perished in armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

During the week of May 13-19, 2024, in the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus, one alleged militant was killed, and there were no reports about any wounded persons. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

On May 17, in the village of Adil-Khalk, Nogai District of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR), in a shootout with law enforcers, a man was killed, whom the FSB (Russian Federal Security Service) had treated as a member of an international terrorist organization, and who had planned attacks on law enforcers.

The shootout in the Nogai District was preceded by attacks on police units committed in Karachaevsk (a KChR city) on April 22 and in the village of Mara-Ayagy on April 29.
