The defence party in Khudyakov and Arakcheev's case will speak at court on May 7
On Monday, May 7, the hearing will restart of the case of Evgeniy Khudyakov and Sergey Arakcheev, accused of murdering three Chechen residents. Liudmila Tikhomirova, advocate of the victims, has informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the court will listen to the evidences of the defence party and plans to continue interrogation of witnesses.
Meanwhile, as the "Caucasian Knot" reported earlier, the hearing due on May 7 should have taken place on April 24, however, the North Caucasian Regional Military Court in Rostov-on-Don had postponed the session. Advocate Dmitri Agranovskiy has explained that the delay was due to inability of the witnesses scheduled for interrogation to appear in court in the near future.
Evgeniy Khudyakov and Sergey Arakcheev are accused of kidnapping and illegal detention of a person, and of murdering three Chechen residents who were erecting a military object of federal forces in the territory of the Chechen Republic.
