United Opposition of Georgia: early parliamentary and presidential elections are not excluded
According to the statement of Kakha Kukava, one of the leaders of the United Opposition of Georgia, the opposition is now considering an opportunity to demand that the authorities of Georgia hold early parliamentary and presidential elections.
"In view of the complex situation that we have now here, we begin consultations with all political parties and public organizations with the aim to draft a united action plan of overcoming the crisis. Probably on Monday, September 15, we'll publish our coordinated demands," Mr Kukava has declared.
Now, the document is being elaborated by the "New Right-Wingers" Party and supporters of former Minister of Defence Irakliy Okruashvili.
