Zarema Musaeva’s arrest extended by three months

A court in Grozny has extended the arrest of Zarema Musaeva until May 12, 2923, human rights defenders have informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 1, 2022, at her trial, Zarema Musaeva completely denied the accusations. The court extended her arrest until February 12, despite the deterioration in her health condition. On January 26, the court granted Musaeva's request for a new examination, which will also be carried out in Chechnya. A year has passed since the incident; the examination is difficult, Evgeny Chernousov, an advocate, has noted.

Zarema Musaeva is accused of assaulting a law enforcer and committing a fraud.

Let us remind you that the project "Support for Political Prisoners" has recognized Musaeva as a political prisoner.
